"Service visit went exactly how I was afraid it would"
I dropped my truck off thinking they’d keep me posted and have it sorted out by the end of the day, but that’s not how it went. I waited around all day with no real updates, and by the time I got it back, it still wasn’t fixed right. I guess I assumed a dealer service department would be more organized, but this was a frustrating experience.

"Good updates and no runaround"
I had a good experience with General Motors. The main thing I noticed was the communication, they actually kept me updated, so I wasn’t sitting there wondering what was going on the whole time.
Even the dull details were laid out clearly enough, and I didn’t get that pushy or sneaky feeling you sometimes get with big company websites. So yeah, I’m blaming whoever runs this for making it way less annoying than expected. 5 stars from me...

"Way too expensive for what you get"
I was browsing General Motors looking at a new truck, the prices caught me off guard. The base price already felt high, but once I added a few normal things most people would want, it jumped up fast. I kept thinking, why is this so complicated and why does it get expensive so quickly?
At that point, the value just didn’t feel there for me. The monthly payments were way bigger than I expected, and the incentives didn’t really make much of a difference. I ended up checking other options because it just felt like too much for what you’re actually getting
"Solid truck, just a couple little things"
Ive had my GM truck for a while now and its been dependable overall. It fires up every time, drives smooth, and the inside feels sturdy and comfortable enough for everyday use. I did have a minor sensor problem come up, but the dealer took care of it quickly. Its not perfect, but I dont worry about taking it on daily drives or longer road trips. Id give it 4 stars

"Pretty good tech overall"
I’ve been happy with it so far. The screens look great and are really nice to use. The app does get kinda slow sometimes tho, like it lags a bit when I’m trying to do something quick, but overall it’s still good tech
"Tracking works when it wants to"
I ordered through gm.com and the whole thing was frustrating. The delivery date kept changing, but there was never any real explanation or useful update. The tracking basically works when it wants to, it just sat there for days with no movement. I reached out to support and got the same copy-paste answers every time, and it really felt like nobody actually knew where my order was

"Getting help with the warranty and recall was a pain"
The whole recall thing felt like it took way longer than it should have. I kept waiting and checking back, and it just dragged on. The warranty part wasn’t much better either, because I still don’t really know what’s covered or not. Maybe I missed something, but if it’s a warranty, I feel like the answer should be simple.

"Not the easiest site to use"
I found the website confusing to navigate, and it was slower than I expected (which got frustrating quickly). I just wanted to get through it without having to hunt around so much.

"Fast, straightforward help from GM support"
I reached out to GM with a question about my account, and I was bracing myself for a long wait or getting passed around. I’m careful with account stuff, so I didn’t want to share more than I needed to, but the chat rep kept it simple and got back to me quicker than I expected.
They answered my question clearly and even followed up later that same day. Nothing over the top, just quick help, clear info, and no weird runaround. For me, that’s exactly what I was hoping for

"Parts availability can be hit or miss"
The GM site is decent for looking up parts, but not sure how to explain it, sometimes something shows as available online and then the dealer tells me it’ll be weeks. The repair info is helpful here and there, but it’s not always super clear. Overall it’s not terrible, just not great either. I really wish checking parts and booking repairs felt a little more straightforward...
